A Bit About Us
In February 2020 my family and I purchased Debbie's Gym from its founder. We have been lucky and thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful program of 35 years. In April 2021 we changed the name from Debbie's Gym to Younique Gymnastics. We continue to offer the same judgement free programs for all children as Debbie had.
At Younique Gymnastics we hope everyone will feel like they're a part of the family. We value each of our athletes and want them to feel comfortable in our gym. We hope our athletes not only build upon their gymnastics/ninja skills but also gain a sense of confidence, build friendships and learn valuable life lessons.
We pride ourselves on our non-competitive programs open to all children, no matter their skill level. Our staff is passionate, professional and fun! We always want the best for each of our athletes and always strive to help them achieve their goals.
We also offer more than our classes/camps. One of our most popular programs is our ToddlerTime program. In this program children 2-4 years follow an academic curriculum along side of our gymnastics curriculum. We also host many events throughout the year for our families. And of course we offer gymnastics/ninja birthday parties.
We're also very lucky to have an outdoor space at our gym. When the weather is nice some of our classes may be held outside, we also use this space for our Toddler Time and Camps!
We are so happy that you have checked out Younique Gymnastics and hope you'll become part of the family!

I remember it like it was yesterday... When I was 12, my best friend said to me, "When you grow up you're either going to be a professional athlete or have like 100 kids!" While that didn't EXACTLY come true, she was pretty close.

I have always been involved in sports but my passion was volleyball and of course, gymnastics! I completed in gymnastics for several years before focusing on my volleyball career. I went on to play volleyball at the collegiate level. As I grew, I realized that there was something even more special than competing and fell in love with teaching/coaching!

I have over 15 years of coaching and teaching experience. I am the head teacher of our Toddler Time: Play n Learn program and lead coach at both Younique Gymnastics and Lil' Athletes Sports. Nothing gives me more joy than when I see "my kids" learn something new. They just light up with pride and excitement. As a teacher/coach, my hope is that each of "my kids" gain confidence in themselves, feel valued/loved and grow not only as a gymnast but as the amazing person that they are!

While I consider each of my students/athletes "my kids," I have three amazing children of my own, Callan, Luke and Cassidy. We enjoy baking, coloring, eating ice cream and going to the gym together! I am so lucky to have such an amazing, supportive family both at home and at the gym!

I am a former gymnast of 14 years having competed in middle school and High school. I was an all league and a scholar athlete for both gymnastics and track and field. Since completing a coaching clinic specializing in gymnastics at SUNY Cortland, I fell in love with coaching. Since then I’ve coached for over 5 years.
I love teaching and coaching kids. When coaching I love to challenge my athletes, teaching them to work hard while also keeping them engaged and making it fun! I’m very patient and supportive of my athletes when they get frustrated. When I hear "I can't do it," I always reply with “you can’t do it..YET, just work harder."

Outside of gymnastics, I graduated SUNY Cortland with a degree in Teaching English as a new Language. I was a Division 3 Collegiate athlete in Track and Field competing as a Pole Vaulter and long/triple jumper all four years.

I did competitive dance for nine years and recreational gymnastics for four years. I practiced my bars skills on the playground! Gymnastics was always a passion of mine but competitive gymnastics would have prevented me from dancing. I enjoy being at Younique Gymnastics because we provide a place for gymnasts who love the sport but also want to participate in other extracurriculars.

I recently moved to New York from Massachusetts and was looking for a job working with children in a fun, welcoming environment. I was thrilled to have found Younique Gymnastics. My goal is to help children become their happiest self!
Outside of the gym I am also a full time student pursuing childhood psychology. In my free time you'll find me drawing/painting or playing with my cats.
